The Tim Burton was impossible so we walked in and then right out again. We did how ever make it through the bauhaus show which was an amazing time capsule of the institutes oeuvre. The exhibit outlined the schools history and the evolving pedagogy though...

Demuth
I have always loved this painting and since it is part of the permanent collection at the Whitney I can basically see it whenever I want to, so when I was up at the Whitney last Friday for the Roni Horn show I went and paid it a visit.

I was going only to see the building and really only planned on making a quick trip and ignoring all the art but when we got off the elevator on the main gallery level I was blown away. Circular Carbon Fiber Loom
